Simon and Sarah just spent the August Bank Holiday weekend with us. Me and Max were both poorly with nasty colds and were suffering from lack of sleep - but despite this, Max especially was pretty much on form and really enjoyed the extra attention from his Aunty and Uncle. One of the things we did was to spend a day in Southwold - I am loving being back in Norfolk and having all these great places on my doorstep.
It wasn't particularly warm, but it didn't keep the beach dwellers and swimmers away! They were braver than me thats for sure!
Someone told Ben that these beach huts sell for £100,000!!!! They are very lovely, but even so I am very sceptical about this!
Max was fascinated by the sea and the waves - from a distance of course!

Looks like a great day. Leia, Spencer and Nathan would have loved to be there. Here's hoping next summer works out and we can do that together. You are looking great Rachel. Considering past conversations we've had about certain things, I'm not sure what I was expecting but you look exactly like you should for being almost 8 months along. Gorgeous!
