Spring has finally arrived here in Norfolk and I am loving it! The weather, along with the return of my normal energy levels is getting me out of the house with Max. Today I took Max down the country lanes on his bike. It was very warm and sunny and I didn't want Max to burn so I managed to find a hat for him that was a tad too small for his substantial head, but I think it did the job even if it did irritate Max! After a short while he got a bit fed up and wanted to walk, so I let him walk and that was it - he did not want to go back in the bike and wanted to push the bike all the way home! Whilst it took forever to get home, I loved watching his determination and independence. I took some snaps along the way!

What a treat those pictures are. Max looks way more like you than Simon. And the whole snot thing. Get used to it. He'll be eating the contents of his nose for years to come if my boys are anything to go by!
