My little man!

Max is getting less babyish as the days go by.  Part of me feels sad about this, but the bigger part of me is loving every second!  I am so excited to watch him grow and change.  Recent developments include him trying to climb, wanting to run around, 'talking' all the time, understanding me when i talk to him (eg he knows what books, naps, walks, dancing, kisses, lunch, dinner, bath, row the boat, pat the dog and bed mean - just to name a few!!!).  Max's Auntie Julie came to visit this weekend and she took some great pics, and here they are.

Monsters!

There is a big kids adventure play centre down the road called 'Monsters' which is so great, and I have been dying to take Max there for ages!  He is a really good walker now, so this weekend Ben and I took Max along for his first taster!  He was in his element walking around and trying out all the toys and play things there.  It was really busy there, and he didn't seem bothered by the other little toddlers, but he was fascinated by the big kids that were tearing around the older kids section, screaming and playing hide and seek!  Its scary to think that before long that will be him - but for now I am absolutely loving the stage he is at - I will be sad to see this stage pass.  I love watching him waddling around and seeing how exciting it is for him that he has discovered how to walk and get around himself.  The only downside to it is that he won't keep still and is not interested in giving me cuddles - unless he is hurt, tired or poorly - 3 states I don't like seeing him in - but there you go - at least I can get through the bad stuff with Max if he lets me cuddle him!
