Loving Spring

Spring has finally arrived here in Norfolk and I am loving it!  The weather, along with the return of my normal energy levels is getting me out of the house with Max.  Today I took Max down the country lanes on his bike.  It was very warm and sunny and I didn't want Max to burn so I managed to find a hat for him that was a tad too small for his substantial head, but I think it did the job even if it did irritate Max!  After a short while he got a bit fed up and wanted to walk, so I let him walk and that was it - he did not want to go back in the bike and wanted to push the bike all the way home!  Whilst it took forever to get home, I loved watching his determination and independence.  I took some snaps along the way!

Ready to go!

Poor attempt t0 take a shot of us both!

Max doing his thing!

Put that tongue away!

This is what happened when I put him back on his bike!

I think Max likes the taste of his snot!

Checking in with family in the north!

Last week Mum, Max and I visited Nan and Grandad Foster, and Simon and Sarah in Leeds.  It was a brief but lovely visit.  The grandparents thought Max was a 'smashing lad' and Max obviously felt at home at Simon and Sarahs becuase he slept right through until 7am.  What a treat for Mummy!

Max with Uncle Simon -people are always telling me that Max looks like Simon - can you see the similarity??!!

Great Grandad Foster made Max laugh by making silly noises and doing funny walks - just like he used to do to when I was a kid!

Nan loved Max so much - Max is clinging onto a fly swat which he took a liking too.  I was reliably told that it was clean and was never used...hmm....

Our Easter Weekend

Our Easter weekend has been a busy one, but it was worth it. We have been to spend a few days with Tacha, Jamie and the boys and we have had Jess and Louisa for 4 days. Max has enjoyed the attention and extra opportunities to play, although he perhaps may be suffering now as a result of all the playing and the lack of sleep - he has a nasty cold to show for it! Anyway, here are some snapshots of our shenanigans!

At the park..

Out walking in the country lanes!

Max loves being pushed on his little bike!

Max and cousin Harrison getting cosy in the double buggy.

Dinner time for the babies!

This is one of my favourite times of the day - one of the few times Max likes to sit still and cuddle me!

Enjoying a bath with cousin Cameron!  Neither of them were that interested in each other really!
Bouncing with big sis Louisa!

Playing in another of the great outdoor toys Aunty Tacha has (she is a childminder, and as such has a house and garden full of fantastic toys!  Max was in his element, and I loved watching him wandering around and playing without the danger of him getting into something he shouldn't!)

More handsome every day!

Max on an easter treats hunt in Tacha's garden - with the help of Jess he collected a whole bag full of treats - I am looking forward to enjoying them - thanks Max and Jess!!!

A rare moment when Jess let us take a pic of her - and this is a lovely one!
